Welcome to Room 11's website for First Step Preschool. I am so excited to be a part of First Step and be teaching your children. We are going to learn so much this year and have FUN doing it. Take a look at our website and what we have been and will be doing in our classroom.
December
In the month of December, we will be learning about the letter C for cookies, W for winter and S for snowman.In the sensory table we will have play dough with cookie cutters, Fake Snow
Popcorn Seeds with bells in it. We will be singing “Jingle Bells” everyday.
On December 8th, our class will be going on a field trip to the library on Snow Road. During this field trip we will be listening to a story read by the librarian, an art activity, eat snack, and talk with other families and students in the classroom. We hope to see you there.
There will be no school December 19th- January 2. School will resume on January 3rd
January
In the month of January, we will be learning about the letters O for Ocean and D for dinosaurs. In the sensory table we will have colored rice and beans with toy dinosaurs in it. We will be singing “Baby Shark” and “We are the dinosaurs” by the Laurie Berkner band.
On January 19th, the Bubble Lady will be coming to our school.
There will be no school January 2nd , January 16th and January 20th
